Love is a gay Flamingo

The cockles of my cold, dead heart were warmed today when I heard about the enduring love story of Carlos and Fernando - Slimbridge's first gay Flamingo couple! The two male Flamingos have apparently been together for 5 years and have raised 3 chicks between them. Apparently the other Flamingos around them have completely accepted them and don't question their right to be parents, call them names or graffeti their nest with homophobic slogans.
